Arsenal Beach Soccer Team Arrives Today To Lagos State, Nigeria.

 Arsenal Beach Soccer Team are expected in the country ( Nigeria ) today for the annual beach soccer
tournament organised by Kinetic Sports. The tournament holds from 8th to the 10th of December, 2017 at the Eko Atlantic City, Lagos Nigeria.

  First time the Arsenal Beach Soccer team will be coming to Africa and indeed Nigeria.

 According to the Managing Director of of Kinetics Sports, Samson Adamu , he noted that the locally raised team, the  Gidi Sharks were looking forward to playing with the world champions while also adding: One of the players in Gidi Sharks  told me that it was a dream come true to play with his favorite club. So as you can see dreams are being
achieved through COPA Lagos.

 Meanwhile, Lagos State Government are excited about the prospects the tournament is bringing to the aquatic city. Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve
Ayorinde believes that COPA Lagos will certainly put Lagos on the global tourism map while also promoting a beach culture and lifestyle in Lagos and
Nigeria.

 The Special Adviser on Sports to the Governor, Deji Tinubu confirmed that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode will grace the tourney. Tinubu also added that provisions   have been made for
who ever decides to come for the tournament.
“Various activities which ranges from soccer, music and entertainment have been lined up by the organisers,” Tinubu stated.

 Eight teams, will be taking part in this seventh edition. They include Nigeria,Morocco, Lebanon, Spain.  Others are Arsenal, Gidi Sharks and the
Kebbi team.
